Certified 2024 GMC Savana 2500 Work Van Van For Sale in Orlando, FL

The GMC Savana passenger van comes in mid-duty 2500 Series and heavy-duty 3500 Series models. There are also regular (135-inch) and extended (155-inch) wheelbase versions, with seating space for eight, 12 or 15 people. Towing is also a strength for the Savana models, with trailer ratings ranging up to 10,000 pounds.

There are two different engines offered in the Savana vans. Most models are equipped with either a 4.3L V6 that makes 276 horsepower and 298 lb.-ft of torque or a 6.6L V8 making 401 horsepower and 464 lb.-ft. Across the entire lineup, the Savana comes with a 31-gallon fuel tank. All 2500 and 3500 models come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Savana has true body-on-frame truck construction, with a ladder-type frame plus tubular cross members for better torsional stiffness and tapered frame rails for safety. It rides on an independent front suspension and rear leaf-spring suspension, with a stabilizer bar in front and a locking rear differential available on all models. Steering is via a recirculating-ball gear. In all Savana vans, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with dynamic rear proportioning adapt to loads and provide secure stops. GM's StabiliTrak electronic stability control also helps provide safety and prevent skids in sudden maneuvers, while all models include driver and front passenger air bags.

Both of the Savana 2500 and 3500 grades are offered in LS and LT models. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, auxiliary power outlets, a driver information center and an AM/FM radio.
LT models step up to cloth upholstery, rear air conditioning, a rear auxiliary heater, cruise control, two 12V power sockets, remote keyless entry and power windows.

Options include remote start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and an improved audio system with CD and MP3 capability and a USB port. In all models there's a choice between vinyl and cloth upholstery. Other convenient options include a rear vision camera and ultrasonic rear park assist, with the rear vision view shown on the rearview mirror.

Heavy-duty 3500 Series models include various other upgrades, such as a higher-capacity battery and alternator, as well as a heavy-duty transmission with external oil cooler.

Available Diesel Engine

The GMC Savana drops the 6-speed transmission and replaces it with an 8-speed for 2024 but otherwise carries over with minimal changes.

In a market that's evolving toward world models and lighter builds, the GMC Savana vans keep their body-on-frame design oriented for the U.S. market, with better towing capacity than most of the competition. Those interested in long-distance towing or fleet use may want to jump straight to the Duramax diesel version, which allows for greater towing capacity.
